What is the most consumed food at the RobinsBite headquarters? We love beans – soy, black, kidney, cannellini, garbanzo are all favorites.
What is your favorite food to bite? Anything with salt and caramel – it’s a delicious combination.
What spice can you not live without? Cumin – it’s not just for Tex Mex!
In your opinion, what is the most underrated herb? Parsley, it’s not just a garnish people.
Are you a sweet or salty girl? I love both, depending on the hour.
What is your most famous recipe? Everyone asks me to make any type of salad as long as it has fruit, nuts and cheese.
How are picky eaters handled in the RobinsBite household? I’m not a short order cook. You don’t like it, you don’t eat.
Who should prepare your last meal? I would want my mom to make her famous beef tenderloin.
Do you really want to be this cabbage head for Halloween? Absolutely! Can’t you see it?
Which Food Network Star does your cooking style most resemble? The Barefoot Contessa – Ina Garten. She uses simple, fresh ingredients + uncomplicated recipes and techniques = great food!
What is your most coveted kitchen utensil? Not a day goes by that I don’t use my Santoku knife.
What is your guilty pleasure? There isn’t much better than really good bread and good butter.
Did you really name your son Ben after Ben and Jerry’s ice cream? No, but I thought about it. I’ve been lactose intolerant for 20+ years and eating ice cream during my pregnancy was heaven.
